Here on offer is one of Australia’s blues/hard rock/prog gems from 1973 entitled “Band of Light – Total Union”. Band of Light were one of Australia’s premier blues bands of the 70s and featured the brilliant slide guitar of ex metal band Buffalo member Norm Roue. This Warner Brothers Australian only issue WS20011 was issued in an attractive gatefold cover. This was Band of Light’s outstanding first album.

Band members included:

· Norm Roue – Slide Guitar a member of Buffalo and Lotus

· Ian Rilen – Bass of Blackfeather, Rose Tattoo, X and Sardine V

· Tony Buettel – Drums of Bay City Union, Levi Smiths Clefs, Fraternity and Band of Talabene

CONDITION

Cover – Looks great, minor bubbling of laminate, the odd crease – Excellent.

Vinyl – Light scuffing only, plays well, the odd crackle – VG+.

In all a very pleasing copy of this rare blues/hard rock 70s album. An important album for any collector of this genre.
