BALDWIN : The land at rainbow's end / beautiful butterfly 45 rpm single
original UK pressing on DECCA .F 22624.from 1967.
this is the only UK single ( sung in english and produced and recorded in England) by Holland's rock legend BOUDEWIJN DE GROOT under the name of BALDWIN . it is a very good pop psych offering with lush period string arrangements a la Sgt. Pepper. from what i could gather ,only about 500 demo copies were supposed to have been pressed . here's a regular stock copy ,which i suppose is more hard to score. an absolute rarity for those who collect De Groot vinyl and ,by extension , UK psychedelia.
