Description
Bakery
Momento
Astor, Australia 1972
Here's an original Australian pressing of the Momento LP by Bakery, issued in 1972
One of the holy grails of Australian progressive psych LP's
Up there with the greatest overseas prog LP's of the early 1970's
Reminiscent of Leafhound at their best, Deep Purple & even the wild psych of Pink Floyd
Staggering savage lead guitar & heavy organ interplay, one moment serene & mellow & the next a dynamic assault on the ears
It simply doesn't get much rarer than this
A Radio Station copy, has writing on the labels & inside / rear sleeve
In really fine Near MINT / EX+ condition
Original Australian pressing from 1972 on the Astor label, catalogue no. ALPS 1035
CONDITION
VINYL: Near MINT / EX+
Vinyl Side 1 is Near MINT, Side 2 is EX+, Astor LP's usually have light hairlines from manufacture this has a few very thin / very light hairlines on Side 2,
& they usually play with a bit of crackle however this plays EXTREMELY WELL with just the occasional tiny bit of light background crackle, looks great & plays absolutely beautifully even in the quietest of quiet passages
Writing on both labels
GATEFOLD SLEEVE: VG++ to Near EX / Near MINT
Outside of the Gatefold Sleeve is VG++ to Near EX rubbing / light ring impression but not heavy, inside Gatefold is Near MINT,
writing on the rear & some small timings written on the right side inside Gatefold, in fine shape
