All of my records are second hand and have been part of a well looked after collection built up over decades.
I play all of the records before listing to ensure quality, therefore I cannot accept returns.
Condition: Record = 4 Sleeve = 4+
I grade my records on a 1 to 5 scale as follows -
5 – Excellent – The record shows signs of having being played, but the sound quality has remained near perfect. The sleeve appears almost new, with possible slight creasing.
4 – Very Good – The record has been played many times, but the sound quality has not suffered any great deterioration. Some signs of the records usage may be visible. General displays of usage on cover, no major defect though.
3 – Good - The record has been used many times, and this has led to a deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve may have folding, discolouration etc.
2 – Fair – A lot of usage, barely playable, lots of surface noise and possible jumping. The sleeve is torn, stained etc.
1 – Poor – The record will not play properly because of scratches etc. The sleeve will be badly torn, possibly with parts missing. Only any good as a collection filler.
