FIFTH AND FINAL album from this highly respected British hard rock institution fronted by the wonderfully exotic Ellie Hope with Bernie Marsden on lead guitar. This version of the band had come a long way since the original incarnation which was conceived as more of a progressive rock band. 'Kid's Stuff' takes its lead from a gritty combination of mid seventies hard funky rock and American FM rock with interesting results leaning towards melody rather than muscle. Ellie Hope and Marsden can often be found duetting to achieve maximum effect with a vibe that isn't a million miles removed from the southern rock idiom of say, the Rossington Collins Band or Ruby Starr's Grey Ghost.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Beautiful clean and shiny condition. One or two very faint spindle marks on labels and absolutely no other signs of use. Grades as shop fresh MINT-!

Cover: Again virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed but very fragile cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square if a little flattened with original pinches top and bottom. Grades as Ex+
