To All Mel & Kim Fans. As a fan this is a unique opportunity to own a unique item associated with this duo's success with their most famous of songs their debut single 'Respectable' produced by stock/aitken and Waterman. Presented for auction is this Framed and Glazed genuine Presentation Gold Disc and Citation in respect of Mel & Kims sales of the song 'Respectable' in Australia in September 1987.It was commissioned by the Directors of Liberation Records. How often does such a personal Presentation piece come up for sale?. This is a professionally framed piece. Displayed in the centre is the Liberation Records Gold Disc. Top left corner is an enamal Australian Flag. Bottom left is a miniature of the Mel & Kim Record sleeve for 'Respectable', and in the bottom right corner is a gold outline of Australia engraved with the citation which reads ' Presented to Supreme Records by the Directors of Liberation Records for the outstanding achievement of attaining an Australian gold no 1 single for respectable September 1987'. The pieces are mounted on a blue background with a red border.The Frame measures 13.25 by 14 inches. It is presented in an excellent/undamaged condition.
