Scotland’s finest, Arab Strap write about sex, death and everything in between. This Box contains their first two albums on LP, 2 Bonus LPs of John Peel Sessions, B-Sides and unreleased tracks, A CD of early EPs, a Cassette replicating the one that they sent to chemikal underground that got them signed, posters, a digital disc containing all non-CD tracks and a signed certificate of authentication signed by the band.

 

 

Much more than just a vinyl reissue of their first two albums, 'Scenes of a Sexual Nature' is as close to a comprehensive anthology of Arab Strap's recorded material from their birth in 1996 to their departure for Go! Beat in 1998 as you can possibly get. A genuine must-have for seasoned Arab Strap enthusiasts and curious Arab Strap virgins alike.

All the artwork on this box has been put together by Aidan himself; revising the original artwork on 'The Week Never Starts...' and 'Philophobia' as well as packing the rest of this behemoth with so many added extras there's an outside chance you might faint...

* 'Girls of Summer' live at CU's 5th Birthday Party in 2000 (with host John Peel's introduction included).
• CD of BBC live outside broadcasts including:
• Arab Strap's first ever gig, recorded for the Peel Show at Glasgow's King Tuts (October 1996).
• Arab Strap's six track live set from T in the Park, 1998.
• 9 track CD compilation of material from Arab Strap's Chemikal Underground EPs (1996 - 1998).
• Replica of the original 'green frog' demo cassette sent to Chemikal Underground in 1996.
• Full size, double-sided poster of reviews and tabloid clippings.
• Individual liner notes written by Aidan and Malcolm.
• A numbered certificate of authentication, personally signed by Malcolm and Aidan.
