Description

Title:    Very Rare Apple Box Give Peace a Chance

Artist:  John Lennon

Label:  Apple 1809

Condition/Description:

Since listing the “Cold Turkey” box, I’ve received several inquiries as to whether I have other titles available.  So here’s a second title.  Will list a third if this one performs well.

This one’s gonna be tough to let go of.  Ever see one of these?  This is an original Apple Records shipping box complete with a quantity 25 copies of John Lennon’s “Give Peace a Chance” single recorded at the historic “Bed-In for Peace,”  backed with Yoko’s “Remember Love” from 1969.  When the record stores ordered their stock of Apple singles, this is how they received them.  Try and even speculate how many complete sets remain today.

All singles are store-bought near-mint condition, and they all have original Apple sleeves.  These are the East Coast pressings.

The box is in very nice condition.  There is masking tape residue across the back.  The record number is written on the bottom in black crayon in the space provided.

I doubt you’ll see another chance at owning this.  If it doesn’t sell, I’ll probably not relist it.  Be sure to check out my other auctions as well.

Thirty-year record collector fallen on hard times.  I will be selling off some nice, rare pieces over the next several months.  Prompt payment will receive positive feedback.  Please, no checks.  Money orders, bank checks and PayPal are my preferred methods of payment.  I cannot be responsible for cash lost in the mail.  International buyers, please convert to US funds.  Thank you!

Postage:  Will calculate shipping depending upon location.  Will combine shipping on multiple items.
