Description
Offered here is an original copy of The Ant Trip Ceremony "24 Hours". This was a local private pressing from Ohio on the CRC label (CRC 2129} released in 1968. It is mega rare as only 250 copies were pressed. It is totaly stoned out dual lead guitar psychedelic with blues and jazz influences on some tracks, The cover here is a strong VG++. There is a small brown stain on the upper edge about the width of a dime. There are some small blotches of foxing on the upper front cover and very slight wear on the back cover. The labels are perfect. The vinyl is M- but just like all originals of this LP, this copy has pressing flaws. The tracks "Little Baby" and "Four in the Morning" have one small pressing flaw bubble apiece which give two pops. I've seen three other copies of this LP down through the years and none of them were anywhere near as nice as this one. In fact, one of those three was not even playable. And yes, the vinyl on this copy does remain opaque black even when held up to a strong light. There's no bluish tint here. So you may bid with confidence, knowing this is not a counterfeit or a bootleg. This has a reasonable reserve but you must understand that if you wish to join the small elite circle of collectors who own such a nice copy of this mega rarity, that the price of admission won't be cheap.
