Description

Andy Griffith Vinyl Record - Football. This is the record that helped launch the career of beloved actor and comedian Andy Griffth. Before Mayberry, there was a sincere, homespun country boy, comically observing his first football game. This 7" 33 1/3 EP has the nearly six minute football story on A side; B side features Andy's version of Romeo and Juliet. Original cardboard picture sleeve shows wear and has the original owner's name written in blue ink pen (Martin W. McColly). Disc is in great shape. Has been in my possession over forty years, in storage more than thirty. Great piece of comedy, show biz and music history.
