Andrew Hill (with Richard Davis, Eddie Khan, Roy Haynes) SMOKE STACK Blue Note 4159, recorded 1963. Mono LP.  on label: “Blue Note records, Inc. New York USA” “Van Gelder” in the wax. Jacket has 43 West 61st Street Address. Includes original “27 years of Blue Note” Inner sleeve. Plays firmly NM. 

Here’s the eighth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
