Description

Andrae Crouch & Disciples "Live" at Carnegie Hall New York City, New York. Over 1500 people jammed the Baptist Church across the street because they couldn't get in. The disciples performed in the church first, and then ran back to the famed Carnegie Hall where thousands of people were anxiously waiting to "praise Jesus". The desire to glorify the Lord was so vivid to everyone that "we couldn't care less about recording a concert...we had church". There were tears, laughs, foot-stamps, hand-claps, and all were praising the Lord. We tried to capture at least a part of the enthusiasm and excitement that took place that evening. This album is not a slick or watered-down album. It is rough and honest. It's not just the Disciples but thousands of people, young and old, black and white, long hairs and white collars, Jew and Gentile, all praising the Lord. "And it shall come to pass in the days, saith God, I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh!" Acts 2:17. Hundreds came clinging to fears and doubts but left Carnegie hall with a new found friend... Jesus Christ.
