Alternate Learning ?– ALRN [Green Card EP] (Rational Records RAT 001)
Scarcer original 1979 white sleeve edition
Rare 1979 DIY 7" EP from Scott Miller's first recorded band, this predates the formation of Game Theory by about 2-3 years and is absolutely a remarkable 7". It is essential to Game Theory and Scott Miller fans and also to KBD Punk DIY collectors. The band, under the sway of local favorites The Twinkeyz, home recoded this masterpiece of a 7" all by themselves. Both Miller and Jozef Becker would go on to bigger things, Scott with GT and The Loud Family and Joe with Thin White Rope, late period Game Theory and The Loud Family.7" is VG+ (very, very light dishing but otherwise I believe this copy was never played, surface is MINT-/sleeve is MINT- (remained boxed and in a mylar cover for years, nearly no yellowing)/Inserts are MINT- (lyric fold out and white inserts have slight yellowing, color inserts are like new).
In it's original release Scott Miller made up two color variants simultaneously, yellow and white. More yellow sleeves were made up as they were expected to stand out but white picture sleeve fold outs were used on a fair number. Still, white is by far the scarcer cover. The non-color inserts (except the lyric fold out) were cut from a single large sheet at which the actual sleeve was the center, so yellow sleeves had yellow inserts and white sleeves had white inserts.

A quick note about international postage rates: In 2013 & again in 2016 the US Postal Service significantly raised the cost of shipping packages (to everywhere outside the US).
