Description
I have been collecting music in LP and other formats for over 50 years. Over the last 20 years I have replaced a lot of my vinyl with CDs. For reasons of space and convenience, and to some extent due to changing tastes, I now wish to sell a number of 12" LPs and 7" singles/EPs and raise some much needed cash. After selling some LPs last November/December I have revised the format of my listings and aim to work through the rest of the records over the coming months.

Condition:
Approximate overall assessment based on 'Record Collector' magazine grading system: Very good+
Appearance: Clean and shiny with some (mainly) light scratches, which don't seem to affect the sound quality.
Sound quality: Plays perfectly throughout with no distortion but with crackling between tracks and elsewhere.
Sleeve and any extras/inserts: Front cover is clean with good colour, slightly worn with the imprint of the record and some creasing/laminate imperfections; back cover is pretty clean for its age with some discolouration, plus one crease and a small area of scuffing on the top left corner; pine is pretty good with clear wording.
Important note on pressings etc:
Most of the records offered, though not necessarily first pressings, are 'original' insofar as I bought them on or shortly after their initial release. However, some were bought years later and represent later pressings or versions, even reissues. The approximate year of actual (as opposed to original) release will often be apparent from the centre label, which is why I provide a photograph of the Side A label in every case. I know that this is a key factor to many collectors and, whilst I am no expert, I am willing to answer questions from any prospective buyer about any item whose 'provenance' is not obvious from the information I provide in my listing. Nobody wants nasty surprises later!
Delivery:
I will post each LP/single/EP in a standard 12"/7"cardboard mailer (cruciform format for more than one record) with a cardboard stiffener on each side, added packing to protect the corners and extra tape round the outside edges of the package. I will normally send by Royal Mail Second Class parcel on the 'signed for' basis. Whenever possible I will mail out the item(s) within 3 working days of cash settlement through PayPal or, exceptionally, explain in an email the reason for any delay.
Returns:
I will accept a return of any item, with a full refund, which in any respect falls short of my description of the item as far as its CONDITION only is concerned. An assessment as to condition is inevitably subjective, in which case I am happy to talk to any buyer who disagrees with my assessment, and I promise to take a reasonable position on this.
