Description

"Oar" by Alexander (Skip) Spence on LP. Very hard to find Psych-Prog styled Lp from Troubled Leader of Moby Grape. This Lp sold very poorly in it's day, but now considered a cult classic. Spence went from Moby Grape, Jefferson Airplane to Mental Institutions, making the connecton & comparison with Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett. After his passing a tribute LP (Oar 2) was released featuring Tom Waits, Robert Plant, Beck, Mudhoney & more. A most interesting piece, it is on Columbia label #CS 9831 from 1969. LP in Excellent Condition. Label has name wol. Cover has Radio Station Promo strip. Strip has some creasing due to being partially loosened from cover. It also has 2 punch holes at left side, otherwise fine.
