Description
The recorded proceedings of the 1st international conference of Alcoholics Anonymous, July 28-30, 1950, issued on the Rockhill label out of New York. The proceedings feature "Bill," "Dr. Bob," and other speakers. An amazing opportunity to hear the founders of A.A. discuss the movement. Quoting the "Early Days of AA" website: "As documented on this gripping recording, Bill Wilson enjoyed tremendous popularity within AA. He had organized the first international convention, which 3,000 people attended. It also was the only international Convention attended by Dr. Bob, who was terminally ill with cancer. Bill had chosen Cleveland as the meeting location because it would allow Dr. Bob to attend."
Records are G+ in plain sleeves; there are some scuffs and minor scratches, but nothing serious. The sleeves aren't original, and I'm not sure how these records were initially packaged. They may have come with a booklet and other ephemera, but these are not present.
