Description

Albert Ayler (with Gary Peacock, Sunny Murray) SPIRITUAL UNITY ESP 1002, RECORDED 1964. Mono original.  Jacket is red silk-screen on-white field.  Hand painted text on reverse. First musical edition of this LP:  Side B-1 is aberrant. Label is black machine-printed text on red label. Disc plays Ex; low-level whisper is generally audible. Jacket Includes Paul Haines original poetry insert.

Here’s the penultimate from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence. Combined shipping available within reason.
