Description

This is a used, promo-only, 8-LP box set featuring the music of Alan Parsons, both as a musician & a producer. Photos #3-#7 show the 5 Alan Parsons albums, "Pyramid", "Turn of a Friendly Card", "I, Robot", "Eve" & "Eye In the Sky". These are all the original jackets & packaging, (sticker in "I, Robot", embossed gold cover for "Eye in the Sky"), but all have a cut lower right corner (except for "Eve") designating a promo. The other 3 LP's in the clear sleeves feature music from different artist's that Alan helped engineer or produce, including The Beatles ( "Abbey Road"), Pink Floyd ("Dark Side of the Moon"), Ambrosia, Pilot, John Miles, Al Stewart (Year of the Cat") & others, interspersed with interviews from the usually tight-lipped Mr Parsons  (the first 3 sides), & more of the same on sides 4-6, talking about his own music with the Alan Parsons Project, over 3 hours in all. All the records are near mint & have never been played by me. The Box is a 2-piece, hinged one & does show some wear-the hinge side corners have been repaired with clear tape, as has the left front of the box, & some shelf wear on the bottom, but still pretty nice & has the original Promo Only sticker on the front.
