All of these albums are from my personal collection. It pains me to part with them but I have way too much stuff collected over the years and some things need to go. I am sure I have some real treasures in my collection as there are some rare cuts and if the album came with posters or other stuff then they are still with the record and in very good condition.
Every time I play an album it is cleaned with a damp cleaning brush and shot with an anti-static device so as to keep the little charges of static from creating pops and crackles on my records as the stylus passes. No dust, No static means great sounding music. I generally keep my stylus weight between 1 and 1½ grams so the records really doesn't get that much wear when played. The albums I do play a lot I had put to tape/cd.
NONE of my records (Except those produced by MFSL) have been played more than once in a single 24 hour period of time! Many folks are not aware of it, BUT, every time the stylus passes through the groove of vinyl it heats it up just a bit. Just enough to soften the vinyl so if it’s played again soon it will slightly warp the groove. Do that enough and the record will not sound as clear as it should.
All of my albums going up on auction have been played and if any have issues they will be mentioned (remember, these records are older and all will have some degree of pops and crackles, I did my best). All album covers are in good condition, some are in very good shape. All records are kept in a sleeve inserted into the jacket and turned 90 degrees to help keep out the dust. Some sleeves may be rice paper as I was more interested in protecting the vinyl than keeping my records in original packaging. That means, I can not guarantee that my records will have the original record sleeve.
All pictures I put up will be of the actual item and I will describe how I see it. If there is a bad pop I’ll tell you. I am not aware of any of my records skipping. If it skips I throw it out. A record that skips, wears out a stylus a little quicker. All of my vinyl is glossy and well kept.
I am sorry but I will not except any returns. All sales are final. PayPal Only I will be very honest with my description and how the album plays but once it leaves my collection that is it.
All records mailed from me will be sent USPS media mail in new boxes for records and insured for the amount of the winning bid + postage. The cost of the new box and basic insurance will be reflected in the starting bid, (box & insurance about $4.00).
I am sorry, but International shipping WILL NOT happen. I will limit my sales to North America only.
Keep checking my listings as I will be putting up some more all in very good condition, ‘60's and '70's classic rock. Some are quite rare.
