Description

Rare original 1967 British stereo pressing of Zoot Sims and Al Cohn "In London" on World Record Club STP 714. The record is in near-mint condition, with a high luster and a nearly immaculate playing surface; just a single spindle trail on Side 1 suggests that it was played once or twice. Similarly, the laminated cover is nearly perfect bright and clean - with sharp corners and no wear whatsoever. The septet includes Stan Tracey who, along with Pete King (Alto and Tenor), Jack Sharpe (Tenor and Baritone), Rick Laird (Bass) and Jackie Dougan (Drums) establish a more progressive sound than is usually found in an Al/Zoot recording.
