AL BASIM - REVIVAL ... Ultra rare Original Private Pressing (USA-1979) - 300 or 500 copies only, most of which have probably been destroyed! This is one of the rarest of the seventies. Al Basim, an Iranian student in Denver, Colorado, recorded this album with some friends of his (David Reskin, John Starrett, Phil Carter, George Keith). Apparently, he returned to Iran during the Islamic revolution and all of the copies he took along with him, were destroyed. Al, having recorded with musicians of Jewish origin, is supposed to have been executed 4 Stars/Records in Pokora .
