Description

VERY very rare acetate single by Peter and Gordon.

Lady Godiva reached no.16 in UK charts, but no.6 in USA.


Recorded 9/9/66 on an Emidisc recording blank, by Noel Gay Artists of 24 Denmark Street, London, WC2.


Peter, at the time, was going out with Paul McCartney's sister, and often played with them. Who knows if he features on this recording?!


A 1965 acetate by Peter & Gordon sold 12 years ago for £1,600, hence the high starting price.

I have not played it as concerned it will devalue this vinyl.
