Ich bin seit über 35 Jahren Schallplattensammler und habe nebenberuflich ein Kleingewerbe gegründet. Ich beschreibe, bewerte und verpacke Schallplatten mit äußerster Sorgfalt. Title: ORTOFON Pick Up Test Record

This is the rare first testing record manufactured by Danish high-end company ORTOFON. Original first pressing, wich was made in Switzerland, Direct Cut No.0001, beautiful gatefold-cover with embossed artwork ( “Prägecover”), pl. use the "zoom"-function and you will see the engravings/relief on the cover-front ! Contains 2 record-sized booklets ( one in English & one in German ) describing the 9 tests. Side One has „A Selection Of Music By The Popular Danish Composer, Hans Christian Lumbye played by The Tivoli Symphony Orchestra“. Side Two contains „A Series Of Test Signals Covering Tone Arm Resonance, Tracking Ability, Channel Separation, Intermodulation, Phasing, Channel Orientation And Broadband Noise“. Excellent LP for adjustment/testing of high-end equipment !

Condition: the record looks and plays in mint-. The cover has slight wear in a few spots, all seams and the spine are intact, overall ex. The 2 inserts are in mint-.

Grading & Cleaning:

  • the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

  • after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

  • I also visually graded the record under a strong light

  • only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

  • cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !

  • alle Platten habe ich professionell gereinigt und akkustisch & optisch bewertet. Kommen mit neuer Außen- & Innenhülle !
