RARE 1970 ORIGINAL UK 1st PRESSING WITH B&C LABEL TEXT IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

it's surprising how scarce the very earliest press is, with the MANUFACTURED AND DISTRIBUTED BY B&C RECORDS LTD side one label notation. . .

I have several UK original 'scroll' copies in stock and this is the only one with the original text

classic Charisma 'scroll' label LP with the highly distinctive nasal vocals of Howard Werth along with his so-precise acoustic guitar playing

(actually 'electric' amplified classical guitar using nylon or 'gut' strings rather than steel)

also fine sax, clarinet and flute work by Keith Gemmell

Audience were without doubt one of the more unusual bands of the era - brilliant second album (if you include the allegedly withdrawn debut for Polydor)

and, like the sublime Rare Bird, this is another splendidly unique progressive record on this label from those totally amazing times. . .

a top example with just a few insignificant superficial traces (only visible under bright light) from the correct original plain white paper inner sleeve

both labels are bright, sharp and clean with no tears, writing, fading, dulling, stickers or stains - there are only the most minor spindle traces

just minor bumps to the corners and the very lightest signs of shelf wear here and there to the seams - otherwise superb

apart from my own mint personal copy, this is one of the best examples I've seen in recent years - incredible rich, deep, vibrant colour - wonderful surreal artwork

fabulous inside layout - almost totally immaculate spine - tight seams

no splits, tears, writing, stickers, stains or stamps - sharp opening edges

no rubbing or circular wear to either the front, interior or rear cover which is truly astonishing

1st press original in pretty well unmarked and genuinely exceptional condition for its age, especially considering the vulnerability of this sleeve to colour loss and marking
