ATOMIC ROOSTER
In Hearing Of

HERE WE HAVE AN EXCELLENT, UK PEGASUS (PEG 1) FIRST PRESSING (July 1971) OF ATOMIC ROOSTER'S TREMENDOUS "In Hearing Of" LP

PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL (very, very thick and chunky) WHICH DELIVERS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, RICH, WARM, CRYSTAL CLEAR AUDIO
THE LP HAS THE FIRST ISSUE PEGASUS LABELS WITH A TEXTURED MATTE FINISH
FIRST PRESS MATRIX: PEG 1 A-1U / PEG 1 B-1U
AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL MATTE, GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH ARTWORK "Drawn by Roger Dean" AND "Printed and made by the E. J. Day Group, London and Bedford" WITH THE INTERNALLY PRINTED "PEGASUS RECORDS 37 SOHO SQUARE W1" ADDRESS AND FACTORY SEALED LEFT SIDE EDGE
EXCELLENT UK FIRST PRESSING OF A SUPERB LP

Track Listing:
Side 1: Breakthrough (6:17) / Break The Ice (5:05) / Decision/Indecision (3:51) / A Spoonful Of Bromide Helps The Pulse Rate Go Down (4:34)
Side 2: Black Snake (5:58) / Head In The Sky (5:14) / The Rock (4:31) / The Price (5:39)

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO marks/writing and only a few spindles evident when angled under a bright light
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces have their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN and are practically UNMARKED - light sleeve removal hairlines only which have NO major audio consequence
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely SENSATIONAL - CRYSTAL CLEAR, RICH, SHARP, STRONG and VIBRANT SOUND. TREMENDOUS SOUND QUALITY. There are NO scratches, NO sticks, NO jumps, barely any clicks/pops (really, hardly any) and only a light touch of surface noise on some of the quieter passages. The album plays to a high standard with SUPERB AUDIO CLARITY, NO groove-wear and NO distortion and must be very critically graded as EXCELLENT for audio. NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page). GREAT COPY OF A TREMENDOUS LP
SLEEVE: The 1st issue matte gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD+ condition. On the side which houses the LP there is a small central split (2 cm) to the top edge but nothing which detracts from the overall excellent appearance of the sleeve. Also, the original owner has placed some discrete red ticks in biro next to their favourite tracks (see close-up photos) otherwise, the sleeve is in great shape with just a slight touch of 'ring' to the back. The spine is straight and true with all text CLEAR and BOLD. Very nice sleeve
