Description
This is an auction for a LP by, Atomic Rooster, In Hearing Of.
This was released by Pegasus records in 1971 and has catalogue number PEG1. Please check the pictures for clarification.
Matrix: PEG 1 A 1U PEG 1 B 1U
Condition: The gatefold sleeve has a some light discoulour marks and buffing to the corners, top and bottom edge. Otherwise its fine, Spine ex, no tears, bends or creases, Centre ex, complete and graded at VG+.
This comes with its original 'patent' inner sleeve which has a little yellowing but is otherwise fine.
Both labels look clean and new, Under closer examination a few tiny spindle trails can be seen on side one, with little more than a few on side two. The centre hole shows a touch of wear on side two, please check the pics, fine labels.
The vinyl retains its new shine and looks clean, Under a strong light two small but deep scratches and a few feather scratches can be seen. I have test played this record through both sides and found the mentioned small scratches to be audible. Firstly, at the very end of track one, as the music diminishes to silence, a tick can be heard, this continues through the quiet crossover, as the music drops of track two this completely disapears, it has either stopped or been drwoned out by the superb strong audio. On side two, midway through track one, a loud tick is heard on each rotation, perhaps 7 or 8 rotations and then it completely clears. The mentioned feather scratches are completely non-audible. Otherwise this plays with very little lessening in sound quality and does not suffer from much, if any, reduction due to wear. Other than the occasional quiet crackle this plays fine, no distortion, fading or dragging and graded at VG+. Obviously down-graded for the two audible scratches, otherwise a comfortable near mint, both in appearance and audio.
A nice collectable.
