ASAHINA: WAGNER, DER RING DES NIBELUNGEN - 15 Discs
TAKASHI ASAHINA'S NEW JAPAN COMPLETE CYCLE - VERY RARE Perhaps one of the rarest of all CDs, released in very limited numbers, this 15 disc set in mint condition houses the celebrated Ring Cycle which Takashi Asahina undertook during the 1980s.
There is much here that is wonderful. A bonus disc provides numerous orchestral tracks from Rienzi through to Gotterdammerung (a Siegfried's Funeral March that has to be heard to be believed).
Included with this set is a libretto and booklet with photographs and notes, though both are only in Japanese. These booklets are still sealed in the original wrapping.
Postage will be determined at the auctions end depending on what quality and kind of service the buyer wishes to use. This is not something anyone wants to lose in the post!
