Description
PART OF MY AUNTS ORIGINAL COLLECTION OF RECORDS. IT IS ON THE LONDON LABEL WHICH I BELIEVE IS VERY RARE AS I'VE SEEN ONE ONLINE FOR £150.00 AT A DEALER. IT HAS BEEN KEPT IN A DUST COVER SINCE NEW AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THE VINYL HAS A SMALL HAIR LINE SCRATCH NOT DEEP ENOUGH TO RUIN ITS USE. THE COVER IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO TEARS WHAT SO EVER. I AM ALSO SELLING THE REST OF HER COLLECTION SO PLEASE VIEW MY OTHER ITEMS.
Arthur Alexander (May 10, 1940 – June 9, 1993), born in Sheffield, Alabama, was perhaps one of the biggest stars to arise out of the American country soul scene. Jason Ankeny, music critic for Allmusic, said Alexander was a "country-soul pioneer" and though largely unknown, "his music is the stuff of genius, a poignant and deeply intimate body of work on par with the best of his contemporaries."[1]
