Description
This is a vinyl lp of Grandaddy's 1997 album Under The Western Freeway. Grandaddy are one of my favourite artists and I received this new around 7 years ago. It has not had much use because I haven't made a habit of using my record player and as such I think it would be appreciated more by somebody else.
The condition is good, please refer to the pictures for best details on this. The cover/outer sleeve is good save for some slight wear and minor blemishes which would be difficult to pick up on camera, hence no detailed photos. It is certainly not brand new and has had light use (I don't think it's been played through more than around 10 times), however I'd certainly say the condition is good. The inner sleeve is ever so slightly creased but is generally in very good condition. The record itself has some minimal superficial marks (which, again, weren't capturable on camera) which appear to have very little impact on playback. I've just listened through and whilst I wouldn't say it is absolutely perfect (there are very very occasional crackles), I'd say that for me the listening experience is not diminished at all by the condition. As such I'd say that the condition overall is good. I don't want to oversell as I'm not a big vinyl dealer and am not an expert on assessing the condition so I don't want to mislead anyone, but it looks great on a shelf and plays through very well on the turntable; and of course, it's a fantastic album.
Hopefully this is an opportunity for someone to pick this up in the UK and get some use out of it for a reasonable price.
