This rare UK 1st press is on the original light brown Esquire label. It is complete with the very earliest PRLP 7017 A/B matrix , RVG engraved in the dead wax and the original lightweight fully laminated flipback sleeve. Released in 1955, the album features Art Farmer, Gigi Gryce, Duke Jordan, Addison Farmer and Philly Joe Jones.
The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition. It has a superb mirrored gloss, every track is absolutely stunning. The original light brown Esquire label is bright and completely clean. The text is exceptionally sharp and there is NO spindle wear.
The sound quality is NEAR MINT. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant, with sensational audio clarity and separation throughout.
The fully laminated flipback sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. The laminate has the most sensational polished shine, the colours are vivid, the white is crisp and the black text is solid and sharp. There is the slightest corner wear and some discolouration. The rear also has some discolouration but is still extremely bright and completely clean. The whole of this wonderful lightweight sleeve is very solid and the thin spine is very firm clear text.
