Description

In the late seventies and early ‘80s, King Records in Japan issued a series of albums of previously unissued Blue Note sessions in covers that copied the original Blue Note design style.

This album GXK-8151 is in mint condition (never played) and the jacket is excellent shape with some very minor back cover age discoloration. It is on the traditional blue and white Blue Note label.

It was the first release of six previously unissued tunes by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers with Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter. Bobby Timmons and Jymie Merritt. The last tune is by the band with Morgan, Shorter, Curtis Fuller, Cedar Walton and Reggie Workman.
