Description
Original Mono 1958 pressing with no Copyright R on the label or "Inc." On the cover. Plastalite ear with Deep Groove label.

Vinyl: VG- Surface has it's fair share of scuffs and scratches; however, like a lot of these deep groove vinyls, when I played on my 1964 console with a Fisher 500c and JBL speakers the sound is absolutely tremendous. Yes it has surface noise but for the most part it disappears in the medium to loud passages. See the pictures for surface details. Also, this has no loud pops and no skips. When listening to this, it's hard to not be overwhelmed with how well the recording was.
Jacket: VG, the main part of the wear is due to the corners pictured and spine wear. Not a lot of ring wear and still very glossy on the cover. No seem splits or bend marks on the cover. If it wasn't for the mentioned corner wear it may have been given serval grades higher; it still feels good in the hands.
Sound: Like I said above it depends what you're playing it with. There will be surface crackle in quiet passages and between tracks. How much and how prominent depends upon what cartridge you're running. My console mentioned above grooves hard with this LP, but if I play it on my Rega with Klipsch horn speakers my impression is the music sound is fantastic and it's listenable, but if I want a quiet play with out vinyl crackle, I should grab a CD or my Music matters SRX vinyl copy.
