Description

Up for bid is a lot of approximtely 75 vintage 45 rpm records with a vintage Capital Records storage case.  All of these records have been played, however, I no longer have the ability to do so.  From what I remember, all played well, or I wouldn't have kept them in my collection.  They vary from good to very good, with a few near mint condition.  There is no way to list all of these with all songs on this listing.  Some very few examples are:

Tommy Roe, Jan & Dean, Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry, The Furtones, Dion, Ray Charles, Paul and Paula, The Beach Boys, Ricky Nelson, The Hollies, and many, many more.

There is an Elvis Presley  which has Jail House Rock and Treat Me Nice on it.  There is one of The Animals containing House of The Rising Sun and Talkin' Nice.

There is a Jerry Lee Lewis on a Sun Label with Great Balls of Fire and You win Again.

I know these few examples are few....but no way to list all 75 records with there songs.  Did spot a few newer ones, but very few, such as Rod Stewart.  The majority of these records however are from the 50's and 60's.  Oldies!    I don't think you would be disappointed.  I am selling "as is",  as they have been sitting on a shelf, in the house, in the case shown in photo, for over 5 years, without being played.

The case is in good condition for it's age.  Shows wear on edges as seen in photo.  It is a blue bottom with grey top.  "Capital" is stamped on the top cover.  It has a clear (but yellowed with age) plastic handle.  It has a case #730 imprinted under the "capital records" logo.

This will be mailed by Media Mail in an attempt to hold down the cost of shipping.  The case and records alone weigh approximately 8 1/2 pounds.  This is a large collection of 45's and most from the 1950's and 60's.  Some may be older....some may be newer......but if you collect 45's you can't go wrong here.

Thanks for taking the time to view this auciton and hope you have a great day.
