An absolute classic and amazing album! I shall try to give a brief account of what the music sounds like. A previous reviewer said it is like "Rumors"-era Fleetwood Mac playing 60's psych. I think this is a pretty accurate description! The Fleetwood Mac connection becomes most obvious when considering the vocal harmonies (male-female) and the melody of the hooks. The latter have this special confined, neatly packed melancholic feel of a Fleetwood Mac hook. The 60's psychedelics are well represented with the production and the general stylistic presentation and jamming. Extended psych passages, etc. Thus as a whole the album reminds me of the music of the Jefferson Airplane, but without the pomp, grandiose, apocalyptic feel of theirs.
