Released in 1963, this is an original UK pressing. Such a brilliant and ultra scarce record and Anne Briggs first ever release. Beautiful unaccompanied vocals, mesmerising and sublime, performing traditional folk songs of her choice with an other worldly perception for a young woman of 18 years old. Comes complete with original "Topic Records" leaflet featuring a brief Anne Briggs biography written by A.L. LLoyd plus the story behind each song on the record.

Becoming almost impossible to find, get it while you can!
Vinyl - V. Good
(There are noticable surface marks, especially when viewed under harsh electric light which cause some occasional light to moderate clicks and some background crackle. However, the record is not worn, does not stick or jump and can be thoroughly enjoyed. A high quality UK pressing with wonderful audio clarity, Anne`s voice sounds incredible and is well above the level of any of the previously mentioned background interference. Remember, this is Anne Briggs singing unaccompanied, so any audible faults have no hiding place. Added to the fact that this EP is now forty one years old it is in highly respectable condition. Such a rare record, and although not a perfect mint copy, it is a truly enjoyable listening experience. I will certainly be recording the tracks before sending it out to the winning bidder so I can enjoy it for years to come.

No problems at all to mention, both labels and leaflet are in superb condition.
Laminated Flipback Sleeve - Ex
Only slight edge wear and small amount of laminate creasing, still very strong, with no writing or any major problems at all, looks superb.
