DETAILS: This LP was pressed in very limited quantities to coincide with the Popular Image Exhibition at the Washington Gallery of Modern Art, Washington D.C., 18 April - 2 June 1963. This is an ORIGINAL screen printed edition and NOT A REPRODUCTION. This album of interviews is a grail-like item in the world of 20th century art and very rarely comes up for sale. LP cover measures just slightly larger than 12"x12".

The cover was printed and designed by Andy Warhol and Billy Kluver. The LP consists of interviews and snippets of audio vérité, with the following artists:

VINYL CONDITION: VG-; LP has marks and scratches, mostly light scuffs, and a few longer marks that you can feel. It plays with noise, crackle and some pops, but is enjoyable. The labels are nice and clean, with some discoloration and marks. It will look excellent if you choose to have it framed.

COVER CONDITION: VG; LP cover opens from the top, and has no splits along the seams. It has discoloration, wear and markings but has a correct vintage patina for a 55 year old item. There is no writing on the cover. The front cover looks wonderful and will look tremendous in a frame. (see pictures for more details)
