Andy Roberts  Home Grown  

This album, on which some tracks Andy was backed by Mighty Baby, is strangely atmospheric, mesmering and beautifully arranged, with excellent guitar work from Andy.

This B&C press, the definitive version of this LP according to Andy himself, include Gig Song (the lifestyle of working musicians in the 60s compressed into three minutes , the rich impressionistic Moths and Lizards In Detroit and the epic Applecross, a gothic creation inspired by a weekend in a remote village, north-west Scotland. The spooky vibe was continued on the traditional John The Revelator and a funky cover of Spyder John Koerner's Creepy John.  An under-appreciated classic.
