Description

Hard-To-Find Radio Promotional LP from David Bowie titled "Superstars Radio Network Presents An Evening With David Bowie" issued by RCA (DJL1-3016) in 1978. Original copy with black band beneath the cover picture. Issued to radio stations only.

Notes: White title label promotional LP featuring an exclusive interview recorded at David Bowie's apartment in New York in which David talks candidly about his life, career, and influences. Inter-cut with live music tracks taken from the 'Stage' LP. In addition, during the interview segments various instrumental tracks from both "Low" and "Heroes" have been overdubbed as background music.

Counterfeits exist and can be identified by the absence of the lower black band beneath the cover picture (i.e. the picture bleeds off the bottom edge).

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition with nice luster and a couple of very slight surface blemishes. Plays with excellent fidelity and some slight, sporadic surface tics...sounds great! Cover is in VG++ condition with light wear at corners, slight edgewear, light/partial ringwear and some surface wear. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.00 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
