ALTAMONT
Limited Edition Picture Disc LP - Limited to 300 copies worldwide

You are bidding on the incredibly rare Altamont LP, released in 2002, limited to 300 copies. Altamont was Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) and Simon Vockings. It existed between 1983-84. SW was 15/16 at the time. All of the music was improvised live onto cassette tapes using primitive analogue synthesisers and a home made echo machine.
The music itself is surprisingly good - think an early Bass Communion, with elements of Can, Fripp/Eno et al. A must-own for any Porcupine Tree collector, or indeed anyone interested in this kind of music. It's not something I savour having to sell, but I need money for Christmas, and don't have anyone that this would be a good gift for - perhaps you do!
This is in mint condition, although in all honesty there's nothing really to get damaged. It never had any kind of sleeve, was just released in this clear cover. I've put a heavier quality PVC sleeve over it too, which you will recieve in the auction.
