Here’s the low-down, coutesy of La Discographie du Rock Français: “This short-lived group was founded by guitarists Claude Alvarez-Pereyre (member of Malicorne) and Michel Mareska. They recorded one album with the aid of prestigious guests (Francois Breant, several members of Tai Phong [including Jean-Jacques Goldman, Tai and Kahn] etc.). On this album, Alpha Ralpha offered a very original, melodic, solely instrumental music with strange and varied atmospheres. The music on this album drifts away from a very attractive floating jazz rock, to a symphonic rock in the same vein as Tai Phong and to an elegant and sophisticated rock like Mike Olfield or Bo Hansson, even to the suggestive and picturesque rock from Francois Breant's first album. An original and refined record.”  This is sometimes referred to as a Canadian outfit, but they’re French, and I’m offering the original pressing.  Released in France on Warner Bros. in 1977.  The cover is in VG++ and the record is in Ex- condition.  (For more info on my grading system, click on the “me” icon above.)

In the U.S., postage would be about $4.77 for one LP sent by Media Mail.  Package insured upon request.  Winners outside of the U.S. will be notified of postal fees, but an approximate cost for one LP to many countries is $16.20 by airmail (but Canada and Mexico will be less than this for most single LP packages).  If you bid on and win more than one item, you WILL save on postage!  Note: I do not gouge on postage and packaging costs.  Record will be carefully packaged in a strong, oversized LP mailer.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.  E-mail: david.o@jjldj.com.
