You are bidding on a very rare vinyl 12 inch LP on the Oriole label (no.PS 40058) recorded in 1964 at the world famous Cavern Club in Mathew Street,Liverpool.

I have no proof but I actually bought this LP in the Cavern Club from the small merchandising table they occasionally set up at the bottom of the steps leading into the club.

Alexis Korner was one of the early giants in the British R & B scene and many of the blues and R & B stars that were to dominate the British scene got their first break in Alexis's band. Herbie Goins the great American Blues Man features with Alexis on this recording.

This is a great opportunity to buy this VERY collectable British R & B rarity.

This album has been played no more than a dozen or so times and has resided in my record cabinet for 40 years and I now have to start selling my collection as I no longer have the equipment to play vinyl records.(I guess that is what they call progress!!)

The record is in as near mint condition as can be with no scratches or damage of any sort.

The cover has no tears and only the marks one could expect from years of storage in a cabinet, ie the circle of the record shows on the back of the cover. I would be amazed if another copy in this excellent condition exists.
