Description
ALBERT AYLER: My name is..., DENMARK Debut 140 MONO LP - ultra rare orig Debut LP, 1963. Cover is nice VG+, has small white-on-white on white tear on back, a bit of wear on lower spine - otherwise excellent. The Fontana cover is printed in Holland, disc made in Denmark - all danish originals came like this. Some came with stickered backs, some with plain Fontana covers - some had the Fontana logo marked out on back by black marker (***like this copy***, see pics). Disc is graded VG(+) or even VG+, has some light marks, a bit of crackle here and there, but overall it plays great. No 'noisy' passages, but a bit of light crackle in quiet passages is evident. A highly enjoyable & great playing copy. Has one fairly visible scratch, bit it's completely inaudible. OVERALL a nice looking copy that plays even better - but visually it's not EXCELLENT or near MINT, so avoid if that's what you're looking for. Good luck bidding. GRADINGS
I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+, unless of considerable rarity.
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
SHIPPING
I ship in strong, brand new cruciform shipping boxes with padding inside. The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit. IF YOU HAVE INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS regarding shipping, I will always do my best to coorporate.
The shipping qoutes are for 'regular' LPs. If an LP is extra heavy and cannot be shipped at the normal rate I have made the note 'Heavy LP, ships at the price of 2'.
