First UK issue of Albert Ayler’s incendiary free-jazz masterpiece, originally released in Denmark only in 1964 on Debut Records. The Danish original has sold for as much as £700 so this UK version is a more affordable way of acquiring a copy.

 

Vinyl: VG+/Ex.  Plays really cleanly with just a tiny bit of surface noise on the run-in and some barely noticeable during the quietest parts. Has a couple of small marks which DNAP. Flat with no warps. A really nice, clean listen

 

Cover: VG. Very small seam split to bottom edge. Writing in pen to rear of sleeve, some marking to rear. Laminated flip-back sleeve, laminated side in nice shape
