Here is only one of two copies of this I've ever seen--the slipcase box that contains all 7 volumes of the SOUTHERN FOLK HERITAGE SERIES (in STEREO, yet, and all first pressings with inserts) documenting the 1959 song collecting trip of the South taken by the legendary folk music archivst Alan Lomax, assisted by UK folk legend, the great Shirley Collins. These albums are rare enough, but in this case all 7 are collected in the ultra rare box set (can you imagine how few of these were sold ? And in Stereo ??) Six of the 7 LP's are factory sealed, one has been opened ("White Spirituals" in NM/NM condition, original green/blue "white fan" Atlantic Stereo label, liner note insert, small seam split top center spine.) The other albums are all MINT, and FACTORY SEALED ! They are Blue Ridge Mountain Music, Sounds of the South, American Folk Songs For Children, The Blues Roll On, Roots of the Blues, and Negro Church Music. The slipcase box is in VG condition, with some wear but fully intact--and about the same as the other copy I saw some years back. ULTRA RARE, great and important music.
