Updated question, I had from a ebay customers about the first 15 seconds of side A. I got a question from a fellow ebay buyer and I tried to clarify myself on the first track Children Get Ready Side A... I was trying my best way to describe the 3 pops in the first 15 seconds. I don't see any marks or scratches on the vinyl that would make it jump, I feel this is more of a plating/pressing issue. I just got my friend to listen to the song with me for a second pair of ears, and first pop the songs stays on time. The second pop (11 seconds in) happens not long after but skips off beat for a millisecond into the third pop (13 seconds in) stays on time, So the quick pop that I'm hearing on the second pop skips offbeat into the third pop that is on time and plays through without anymore hesitation till the very end of the album.If you know what this record is, then you know it's one of the rarest roots reggae albums that came out of Jamaica. I have tried my best to be as honest as possible about the record and listened to it multiple times, to check each track for issues. The record was always kept in a smoke free home and bagged since it's purchase in 1983. I tried to rate and review each track listed below, the vinyl looks great with no heavy marks or scratches on the vinyl. I have always tried to take great care of my records and always try to ship them the best way possible. AL MOODIE - PEACE, LOVE & MESSAGE - BLACK RAM UNITED ( EXTREMELY RARE ROOTS LP ) from 1980. The vinyl is in Very Good condition with no major visible marks or scratches on the vinyl. The First song Children Get Ready on Side A does have 3 pops in the first 15 seconds of play right when the vocals come in and slows the part for a second but the album plays right through and continues without any other major problems, it really seems to be more of a manufacturing/pressing issue because the vinyl has popped since I bought it, but I thought it was more of the player I was using in the 1980's. I played it on 3 different turntables, but came out with the same results with each play. After the initial 15 seconds of the three pops, the vinyl plays well. The Second song Collie Weed on Side A plays extremely well with very little noise or any major issues. VG+The Third song on Side A and minor Reggae hit Another Man Arms. plays VG+ with no problems , no marks or scratches. VG+The Fourth Song on Side A I And I is in great condition with no marks or scratches. VG+ Side B The first side of Side B song Public Enemy has no problems and sounds great with no marks or scratches. VG+ Side B has a a small pop in the second track Think It Over around 28 seconds, but plays right on through the track with no hesitation. VG Song 3 Why Teach Us to Fight sounds great with very little noise and very full. VG+ Song 4. 300 Years or More sounds great with no problems or issues with very little noise. VG+. MATRIX : DSR 7965 A DT. The sleeve also has a misprint and list side 1. Public Enemy 2. Think It Over 3. Why Teach Us To Fight 4. 300 Years or More, while the vinyl record sticker/label list side 1 as 1. Children Get Ready 2. Collie Weed 3. Another Man's Arms 4. I and I The sleeve is in VG condition with some ring wear and the bright white has faded to more of an off white color. The record still has four solid corners with no seam splits, rips, or tears to the cover. The vinyl labels seem to be nicely intact with very little fading and the writing the label is still legible.
