Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums and I will sell them in order of catalogue number. PIEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --AFFINITY--AFFINITY--UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING. 1970, stereo 6360 004 The 10th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This delicate un-laminated surface is in great condition. It is showing VERY LITTLE WEAR. . It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The top edges are EX++, the bottom edges are EX. The front is EX+ with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS , NO STAINING, just a little manufacturers glue along the bottom edge which is not that un-common. The rear is in the same wonderful EX+condition with NO RING WEAR. The inner gatefold is also in EX++. The opening edges are in lovely N/MINT condition with no tears and no feathering. There is only spine wear to one edge and the information is fully readable. There is a tiny ammont of wear to the very tips of the corners. This album comes with it's ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE in N/MINT condition. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 37year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve. EX++....STUNNING. YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO BETTER THIS ONE.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. There are NO spindle marks. N/MINT-N/MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY FEW, VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which were caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is N/MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are FEW dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . N/MINT-N/MINT. WONDERFUL!

THIS ALBUM IS NOW SO VERY VERY RARE AND THIS ONE IS A REAL CRACKER!
