THE ACTION
I'LL KEEP HOLDING ON
HEY SAH-LO-NEY
1966 uk Parlophone R-5410. Here is a very rare original 1966 uk first pressing of this musically perfect Mod-Soul-Freakbeat 45 by the brilliant band 'The Action'. Both tracks are absolutely superb, in my opinion this 'Action' version of the Northern Soul 'Marvelettes' track 'I'll Keep Holding On' is the best version ever recorded, i also think that this single is one of the best Mod-Soul 45's ever released. With this listing i have provided complete MP3s of both sides, these MP3s were taken directly from the vinyl, the A-side plays and sounds excellent, the B-side is almost the same but with a little more surface noise at the start of the track, please listen to both tracks to decide for yourself. The pictures are of the actual 45 for sale. Please check out my other items!!
CONDITION
This rare original first issue is in VG condition, both sides still have original sheen, there are no nasty deep surface marks, scuffs or scratches, there are just many very minute fine top surface hairlines and a few other light surface marks that have very little affect on play. Both sides play and sound great with just some occasional background hiss/crackle, there really are no nasty marks or scratches so there are no areas with annoying repeated clicks or pops, please play both MP3s to hear how well this 45 plays and sounds. The labels are in very good condition with very little wear/marking. The 45 comes in it's original Parlophone records paper cover which is in VG+ condition, there is just some light creasing and also a small removable sticker in the front top right corner, the cover does not have any rips or seem splits. This is a very decent original copy of this very rare musically fantastic 1966 Mod classic by The Action.
If you collect rare Mod, Psych and Freakbeat 45's, and the stranger and more obscure beat and Pop-Sike releases from the mid to late 1960's, then this musically superb very rare original 1966 uk 45 by 'The Action' is pretty much essential to any serious collection.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO BID
I pack my records very well with plenty of card support to avoid damage. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then i'm afraid that i cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
