Original United States pressing of one of the defining Sunshine Pop Psych LPs ever made. Although the band was offered a major label deal, it meant giving up the rights to their songs, so they declined and pressed only 500 copies of this LP in 1970. The record we are offering here is one of those 500 copies.
The back of the record cover is signed by all four band members. We were not present when the autographs were made and cannot say for sure if they are authentic.
This record also gets a favorable review by Patrick Lundborg on page 248 of his book ACID ARCHIVES THE SECOND EDITION. Patrick calls it one of the best soft rock albums of the era, and compares Oxpetals to bands like Free Design but calls the Oxpetals not quite as lightweight.
COVER: The cover has no seam splitting but grades VG due to overall wear and some creasing.
VINYL: Side One grades a solid VG. Side Two grades a nice VG+.

All of our LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with appropriate padding.
With the exception of sealed LP's, all LP's are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting. Upon request, we will give your sealed LP's the same treatment.
All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, The Great Escape gives an "overall presentation" grade; we do not give a "listening" grade. Our vinyl listings are supplemented when necessary with additional remarks. For example: where some dealers will not allow a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner). LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade for the vinyl.

International Shipping If you are in a country that is eligible for the Global Shipping Program, then the international shipping rates are calculated at a discounted rate. If you are in an eligible country then, per our agreement with eBay, we must ship using the Global Shipping Program.
