PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The force behind the NEW BREED was singer/drummer Jim Mills. The rest of the line up consisted of guitarist Terry Brady, guitarist Augie Dietz , and bassist Terry Calaman. Together the four friends started playing dances and clubs throughout central Pennsylvania.
IN 1970 the managed a local self promoted private press Lp titled "The Many Moods of the New Breed". Released on their own New Breed label (one assumes they sold copies at their live shows), the album offered up a mixture of nifty original hard fuzzrock numbers and popular hits of the era. Opening an album with the '60s garage rock staple 'Shotgun' these guys manage to make it work with a blast of fresh energy. Propelled by Mills frantic drumming and his enthusiastic blue-eyed soul vocals, the result was one of the bettertakes on the classic we've heard. As good as the group's covers are, the five Brady and Mills penned originals are even better. The only original on the first side, the frenzied white-hot 'Rockbustin Blues' serves to show these guys were rockers at heart. Showcasing a great fuzz lead guitar, side two started out with another winner in the form of the blues-rocker Mississippi Delta' (crank it up), while the other three originals on side two were just as killer. The only disappointment is the closer "Never Ending Song of Love" ... Raw & primitive, with plenty of charm, lacking the cutting edge of commerciality (which is a good thing.) Their blue-eyed garage-psoul moves ('When Something Is Wrong with My Baby') probably won't appeal to hardcore rock fans, on the other hand the New Breed sounded like they were having fun throughout the album. CONDITION: The cover: rated: VG++ to "EX" (excellent) ...Hard to find in any condition, the BLACK cover, after 45 years is impossible to find without shelf wear - yet here is a GREAT well preserved copy, ...light wear just beginning, shouldn't bother anyone who understands the fragility of the wear-prone cover ...Still very fresh looking, no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ...
The vinyl: Clean and glossy over both sides, rated: M- TOP COPY expect CLEAN play grade = excellent audio...NO distracting surface problems ... both private labels are clean
