AC/DC ~ Let There Be Rock Aussie LP RARE LABEL DESIGN
Albert APLP-022 <> 21 March 1977 (fourth album)
AC/DC – Let There Be Rock LP (orig. Australia STEREO Albert APLP-022—1977, gatefold cover)
Recorded: January-February 1977 ~ release date: 21 March 1977. Running time: 39:10 (approx).
On offer here is a 1980s issue of AC/DC's fourth Australian album on a NEWLY DISCOVERED ALBERT LABEL. In the mid-1980s, Albert Productions adopted a new label design that featured a modernised yellow logo box on a RED BACKGROUND. However, this particular issue has the yellow logo box on a BLACK BACKGROUND. I have not seen another copy like this in over 20 years of collecting AC/DC records. Perhaps there is someone out there who will appreciate this curio!
“Let There Be Rock” features BON SCOTT on lead vocals, and the singles “Dog Eat Dog” and “Let There Be Rock (Parts 1&2)”.
